Forum cleanup (6)

Hi guys,

I think it would be a good idea to start cleaning up the forum from old useless posts. Save the posts that you think are of value and delete the rest.

As you all see we have a nice and new forum look now, hope you enjoy it

the forum has been ocasionally pruned of useless old stuff...

guys, please check the Feedback for the old topics...that's the part that really doesn't need any old posts...

i'm just wondering...is it possible to have the forum offline for users for like 1 day? only the Crew to have access to it? so we can organize, maby do massive, controled cleanup?

think this might be a good ideea? is it worth it?

Yepp, that can be done. I also think that we should do some restructuring. I dont want real support issues to be handled in the forum. If people have problems with credits or anything else that they have paid for they should use the Support Center and nothing else.

What do you say abou skipping all support sections and instead create a good and solid game manual and have forum sections for each language instead?

You know better than anyone memox that nobody reads manuals.
It's easier for them to come and make a new thread.
They don't use the search button either.
They hardly read the announcements and sticky's.....

Btw...don't you think that the Crew Section should be cleaned too?
I mean there are many old Threads.My opinion is that it should remain only the first pages 1 and 2.

people...don't delete topics that you cannot read...that's why we have a mod at least for each Support...

well memox...we can do this best after we are done reorganizing the Crews...i mean first thing is the Crew organization, then the forum one...and if it's ok with you guys, i could clean up some topics from the Crew section...if i have the time...

as for the guide...i will be in charge of CC, so i thought today of making a set of rules and guidelines for players, maby a guide or something, etc.
and i agree with kirk, people don't usually read the instructions...but if we make a short topic on the newspaper about the new things that will be here...whe they will be...

let's see, what else...oh yes...
good idea memox...so we keep Offtopic (for spammers), feedback, bugs and news?
well i think that it will be nice to have 2 topics for each crew...one for crew-players discussions, and another one just for that crew...
and kirk made something i liked on romanian supoprt...Suggestions and complaints, if i remember correctly...that would be nice to have, just for soggestions and complaints for the crew (not the game, we have feedback for the game) i'm telling you...that could do wonders, really...

also, CC will have the forum and SC will have the support center, right? then it will be good to to the change, but there is a problem with language differences...and roght now i have no clue how to figure this one out...well anyway, we can think a bit more about this...

it so complicate beetween Feedback/Bug and local support ( with the other support if they dont have local support )

if ppl from indonesia have prob with bug
they should post at indonesia section or at bug section or both ?
