Massive Flooder (4)

About that guy that is(was) flooding the English Support with the same Topic over and over again....
Can be done something to stop him?
That Spamming bot is very eficient...makes more topics that we can delete...even with moderator panel.....
And It's not a different user..it's the same(spam bot,zed7777,fuckuzed or something like this) it's the same person....
An admin please ban him for good.....

He was banned already on another IP.
But now he has changed it...it must be using a proxy or it has dynamic IP

He has returned under the nick ucantstopme.
We need to make that change in the Crew asap for the Police to handle those flooders(flooder).
He can't flood so quickly so as long as it is a mod online it's no big problem...but when there is none...he will make haste.
It's hard without ban power...there must always be an admin online to stop him.....

I have installed a couple of mods for the forum that seems to have fixed the problem. Keep your eyes open, if he comes back I have more stuff to install

and he did
but the spammers is back
with different IP

is that possible to CLASS C BANNED ?

and if some ppl from this ip ( i mean other person ) he should contact admin to make exception ... T_T

do you mean using a wild card to ban a series of IPs? like 87.5.243.*?
if yes, then it is possible, as i remember it...


i just read the News...a player told me today that he tryed to send a message in a Guestbook and it didn't show...could that be a problem or not?

and i dont know if MOD of phpbb has released this MOD. but it can be rejected by "route add -host 222.222.222.0/24" from shell command.... ( cmiiw)
about the GB i think this is OOT but lets make easier with rule...

1. The max leght of character of Guestbook/Private Msg
2. The Filter of the word that make it will "reject" to post
3. How much page/Msg that allowed to keep by ppl at GB and Private Msg.

The bot blocker that I installed seems to work quite well. It doesnt prevent spam done by hand though, but that we can handle.

yeah...
even that will handled manual...
i'll use "moderate this forum"
that will delete the thread more fast than the manual post
and maybe that will make one by one fight... who can stand with that.. then the one is the winner...
like the last case at the feedbacksection i loose cause my ISP f***up that is not a solution but that is one of the solution that i can do
